It’s a project. We’ll be purchasing and installing a playscape. We will be installing right inside the mobile home park. Members of the park will be helping us.
How will you engage your community in this project?
This will bring families from throughout the park together. We’ll be using social media to update, announce and promote the project.
How will the project celebrate the neighborhood’s diversity? Diversity can include different ages, races, cultures, socio-economic statuses, abilities, and more.
This playscape is a simple tool to bring all families together. Kids and parents alike. All will be welcome and will impact this community long-term.
How do you plan to spend the $1,000 microgrant? Please list and explain the items, services, fees, expertise, etc. that you plan to purchase.
The $1,000 will go directly towards the installing, delivery and the playscape itself.

ABOUT YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD’S NEEDS
Why does your neighborhood need this project?
The neighborhood of Shangri La has a lot of low income based families who do not get out much. There’s kids playing in the streets on a daily basis with nowhere to go and nothing to do.
What do you hope to achieve through this project? Be as specific as possible!
We hope to achieve community. Families being brought together and relationships being established.
What resources do you already have to make this project successful? Resources could include things like time, partners, expertise, donated goods/materials/space, matching funds, and more.
We have time to assist the installment of the playscape. We have the wide-open space for the playscape. We have some funds already saved towards this project. We have matching funds awaiting us as well.
