The Women’s Municipal Leadership Program is an opportunity for aspiring women to advance their skills and hone their leadership abilities on the path to becoming strong local managers.
The program is available, in part, with support from the MML Foundation thanks to our generous donors.
It packs a lot of learning – lectures and panels filled with content, tools, and tactics – into five dynamic days. Participants dive in on key topics instructed by municipal experts to build executive leadership expertise, and gain insight on the application of new skills from current municipal managers through this impactful program.
Participants will experience it all in the company of other dedicated women, as they create a personal and professional network they can leverage throughout their municipal management careers.
Already, two women who participated in last year’s program have become leaders in their communities.
This complimentary program is open to Michigan women with a demonstrated interest in serving as local government chief executives.
Applications for the 2019 Women’s Municipal Leadership Program will be accepted until June 7. Chosen applicants will be notified in early-July and must commit to attend all five required sessions.
